lifecycle of a myth

the life cycle of a myth

&&the paradox of how the story is told

a synthetic paint is place on an organic surface. the story will be lost as it decomposes—but! it is natural process. we have a habit of forcing objects into existence and to labor for us by continuing to exist.

another myth,,,another loss
who decides how the story ends? when does a story get put to rest? when do we learn to let go? a controlled decay…

observations :: the color and smell of these leaves were different. picked at a different time? used on a different day? dryer? closer to the end? which end?

conclusion :: the retelling/remaking will be ~similar~ but never quite the same…
